Rod began writing freelance in 1984. A horror buff, Rod became a correspondent for Fangoria from 1986-2014. He writes for a wide variety of magazines including Fangoria, Gorezone, Famous Monsters of Filmland, FilmFax, RetroFan and Scary Monsters, of which he is a regular contributor. Rod is a Maine native, and has lived there most of his life.
